Well, we usually don't get anything from here like we used to because the prices have gone up. But, my wife wanted two tacos dorados and my mother in law as well wanted one. The prices was $17.59 for just three tacos! Don't get me wrong the food is good and tasty. The woman at the counter asked how many red or green salsa we wanted came away with three each. As for ambience it's still the same old Peter's El Loco. Not much customers I guess I came at a bad time.

I left West Covina, CA in 1996, for the U.S. Army. It's now been nearly 29yrs!! I have to say, "today I was 1 day old and I just experienced my first plate of Asada Fries!!" It was delicious and only a walking distance from my child hood home. My mother has purchased the Tamales in the past but these Asada Fries called "LOCO FRIES" were delicious! The lady who took my order was very attentive and made sure any extras or modifications to my order were addressed. Great service. My father had a bacon cheese burger with grilled onions. He also was impressed. Peter's El Love is located on a busy intersection of three main streets. So the ambiance is city traffic with bus drivers stopping in for a lunch break. The outside eating area is very well kept and clean. But NO PUBLIC BATHROOMS.

The service and food here is amazing. The cashier (Fawnny or Fanny) probably butchering her name went above and beyond customer service, even offering me a complimentary water as she probably seen that i looked dehydrated as hell. Asada loco nachos are great whether you are sober or drunk. It could use a bit more asada, but the entire entree itself is very filling. Their green and red salsas are both good. The hard shell beef taco is good too. There's plenty of seating and plenty of food options. This place has been around for a long long time. I see other reviewers complaining about price or the $0.80 credit card charge. Look the world is changing... prices are going up everywhere. Get with the times or don't dine out. Simple math. Every time i come here i notice a trend of loyal customers who keep coming back and treating this as a local hidden gem. I will continue to eat here for many years to come. A solid business with amazing service. Also, Good Burger was filmed here a long time ago apparently.

This Mexican fast food business has been here under different names but the food has always been delicious! I personally love the crispy tacos. The shredded beef is so tasty and portions are generous. Employees taking orders are kind and friendly & the service is good. The patio has large cement tables and benches and is always clean. I've been eating here for many years and always return.

El Loco has been part of the community for more than 50 years. Open 7 days a week for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Pancakes, eggs, or breakfast burritos are hearty and filling. Lunch and dinner menu includes hamburgers, chili dogs, Pastrami, soft or crunchy tacos, chili Rellenos, or tamales, fries, onion rings, etc. Pictured are two of their specialties, that are enough for two meals (half for lunch and half for dinner): 1. A special quesadilla consists of green chili, pastrami and cheese. The combination of all these ingredients together are absolutely delicious. 2. Carne Asada torta on a bolillo roll filled with beans, cheese and Avocado. Their secret ingredient must be in the marinade! The outdoor patio has plenty of seating and is very clean. You may bring your pet, but don't forget your kids and wife/husband too! Yes, they do have a children's menu. There is something for the whole family! Please don't forget to tell 'em that Rosemary sent ya!!
